YO! Lobster

Thursday lunch with a friend by a reservation. For some reason it’s not busy. I thought highland village is busy all the time. Arrived at almost 1 pm and it was parking lot was quite full. The complimentary valet parking is available. The Thai lobster roll is served cold with warm bread and it tasted a bit too sweet. The Connecticut lobster roll is served warm with butter and it was delicious. They are by market price though so you will have to ask the server what is the market price.

WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: accessible lobster rolls and tons of fancy seafood options! 🍒WHAT WE ORDERED: • Louisiana Lobster Roll • Salmon Supremo? (Can’t remember) 🍒 PRICE: ~$120 + $25 tip (one to-go Louisiana lobster so maybe it should be $80 for dine-in) 🍒 THE VIBE: beach themed, tourist vibes, it reminded me of surf shops/seafood shops near the beach. 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Maybe. •••• Overall Rating: 7.5/10 - I would like to first of all state this place is very pricy but that’s to be expected for a lobster roll. However, not sure how accurate “market” price is because I had Maine’s Lobster Roll truck and it was about $20 per roll but this automatically came with fries. - Besides that, we are in Highland Village so expect to not have an affordable meal. The meal overall was pretty good! I liked the salmon supremo because you get a mixture of salmon and lobster. - The lobster roll was pretty good, definitely a very indulgent sandwich to have. The flavor was alright tbh, the voodoo sauce isn’t spicy but it’s a nice gravy to drizzle on top. It’s just a very heavy dish and we weren’t in the mood this time but still wanted to try it. - Overall, if you’re wanting to try a lobster roll for the first time I’d recommend this place but just be aware of the market prices. The sashimi was good. I didn’t not like this place but just not too sure about it. Service was 10/10 tho.
